Based on the exquisite corpse game, Histoires Exquises invites the visitors to take part in the creation of a collective sound story. Each user can choose to add or replace a sequence wherever they want in the story by recording themselves on a microphone. The oral aspect leads to a very spontaneous and personal result. New visitors are handed down the story imagined and told by the previous visitors. Taking part in the narration, they influence its course, without any guarantee that their contributions will be retained by the next visitors.
LAB212 is an artist collective co-founded by Nicolas Guichard, an Ecole des Gobelins graduate. LAB212’s focus on creativity and technique results in the conception and realisation of interactive experimental and playful devices. In its work, it endeavours to make spectators take part as co-authors of the work so that they feel genuinely concerned.
